Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder of (mainly) the facial skin. The main features of rosacea are redness of the cheeks, chin and nose. However, it can also occur on other parts of the body. It is accompanied by bumps, pimples and sometimes you can see blood vessels. It usually affects women, but can also occur in men. 

It affects an average of 10% of humanity. They are most common in northern and western Europe, and often begin around age 30. Often, people with light skin and eye color are more likely to develop rosacea. External factors such as climate, alcohol, drugs or hypersensitivity can aggravate rosacea.
