Skin analysis in Rotterdam
A skin analysis is a measurement of your skin with a scanner that records under the same light every time and also looks under UV, so that you see what sits beneath the surface. At Diba Clinics in Rotterdam that is done with the EVE-M, as part of the intake. A separate intake with skin analysis lasts at most 30 minutes and costs € 50.

What a skin analysis
shows
What you see in the mirror is the outside. A measurement shows what sits beneath it, and records it in a way you can compare later.
Two people with the same spots can have something entirely different. Pigment can sit in the epidermis or deeper, and that depth decides which treatment does anything about it. Redness can come from a vessel or from inflammation. In ordinary light you often cannot see that difference, and then you are treating on a guess.
The EVE-M records your skin and measures. Your face goes into a fixed rest, so that the distance and the angle are the same at every capture, and the lighting comes from the device itself. Besides ordinary light it also records under UV, and then pigment that sits deeper does show. Nothing touches your skin.
What comes out is not a diagnosis; a doctor makes that. It is a record of what is there now: pigment, redness, pores, moisture and signs of ageing. On that the therapist builds the plan, and at every check-up the same measurement is repeated. Then you see on the images whether it is working, rather than having to believe it.

Why not a phone photo
Anyone can take a photo of their skin. The difference lies in what you can do with it after eight weeks.
A photo on your phone is different every time: a different distance, different light, a different angle. Put a new one beside it after eight weeks and you still do not know whether something has changed or whether the sun was in a different place.
The EVE-M takes those differences away. Because the conditions are the same at every capture, a difference in the image is also a difference in your skin. That lets you steer a programme on what has been measured, and stop when something is not working.
Measuring itself does nothing to your skin. You carry straight on with your day, and if you want to be treated in the same appointment we reserve time for that.

Then you book a separate intake. We reserve at most 30 minutes for it, your skin is measured and you take a treatment plan away with you. No treatment happens in this appointment, and the intake always costs € 50.
Measure and start straight away
Then you book a treatment on advice, the appointment most people choose. We reserve at most two hours: the intake with the measurement, and then at least an hour to treat. If treatment goes ahead, the intake is waived and you pay only for the treatment.
During a programme
Then the same measurement is repeated at the check-ups. That way you see on the images what has changed, under the same light as the first time.

No. A measurement is not a diagnosis; that is a doctor's work. What you get is what has been measured and what that means for what is possible. If we see something a doctor should look at, you hear so.
