CZ:
where to find it.
We cannot see what is in your policy, and we cannot promise anything on behalf of CZ. What we can do is tell you exactly where to find the answer and which condition sits in it most often.
Amounts are not given here. They change per year and per package, and with money, wrong is worse than absent.
CZ has its own page per treatment: skin treatments, acne treatment and facial hair removal stand apart from one another. You only see your own amount once you log in or use the app.
To CZThis reference was checked in September 2026. What is written there always takes precedence over what is written here.
Amounts and package names are deliberately left out.
Where it gets stuck
Because every treatment has its own page and its own condition, the answer for acne can differ from the one for hair removal. So look at the page for your treatment and not at the general one.
This is not the amount but the condition, and that is deliberate: a condition changes far less often than a maximum, and it is usually the reason a claim is refused.
What CZ
asks of us
CZ states no registration requirement on the general page, but the condition is in the policy conditions per treatment. So ask about it for the treatment you want, and not in general.
This is the part we can check for you. Just ask before you book and we will say whether we meet this requirement.
This is how you reach your own amount
Three steps, and you have the amount that belongs to your policy. We cannot look it up for you: what is in your package only you can see, behind your own login.
- Step 1
Go to the page for your treatment, so acne treatment or facial hair removal, and not to the general skin treatments page.
- Step 2
Log in to Mijn CZ or use the app; your own amount only appears once CZ knows which package you have.
- Step 3
If there is a condition about the therapist, give us a call. We know whether we meet it and you cannot see that.
The questions that at CZ matter
Below is what CZ publishes about it themselves. Take it with you when you call and check it for your policy: what holds for one package need not hold for another.
Do I need a referral?
For treatment by the dermatologist yes, and that then runs through the basic policy with an excess. For the skin therapist CZ mentions no referral on the general page; look at the page for your treatment, because the conditions are there.
Do I share this budget with anything else?
CZ puts acne, camouflage therapy and facial hair removal each on its own page with its own condition. So check per treatment what is left; the answer for acne need not hold for hair removal.
Does this come out of my excess?
With cover from the supplementary insurance, no. The excess belongs to the basic insurance. Many people put care off because they confuse the two.
One question comes before this.
Is there a medical reason for your concern? Without that reason no insurer covers anything, and that includes CZ ; for most of what we do, that is the answer.
The whole route, with what happens when the answer is noAn invoice
that is right.
We put on your invoice exactly what was done and by whom, so that you can submit it. If CZ asks for a registration number or for the therapist's qualification, you get that from us. Do call before you book: that saves you a refusal afterwards.
What we do not do is claim directly or promise that something will be covered. That conversation you have with your insurer, and we would have to guess the answer.
Are you not with
CZ?
Is your insurer not listed? The four questions above work everywhere, because they are about conditions every insurer applies.
