Skin renewal with laser, for pores, texture and smoother skin.
Where it lands
Resurfacing removes part of the top layer of skin in a controlled way and heats the layer beneath. The skin then renews itself faster than it would on its own, and that makes pores less noticeable and the texture more even. How deep that goes the therapist decides per area, and that depth also decides how much recovery time you need.

What happens
Acts on
Water
Every skin cell is largely water. Aim at that and you hit tissue and not colour.
- Stratum corneumThe outer layer of dead cells. What happens here shows quickly and heals quickly. It works here
- EpidermisWhere your pigment sits and where new skin cells come from.It works here
- Upper dermisThis is where the connective tissue starts. What you reach here heals by building. It works here
- Deep dermisHair roots, vessels and the firmness of your skin. Working this deep needs a reason.Does not reach here
What happens,
in order.
Every treatment starts with cleansing, and that is done by hand. Make-up and sebum come off and the therapist checks that everything is gone, because a device or an active ingredient that works on a layer never reaches your skin.
Choosing the depth
The skin therapist decides per area how deep it goes, on your skin and on your recovery time.
Layer by layer
The laser passes in strips across the area and removes part of the top layer in a controlled way.
Recovery
The skin is red and renews itself in the days after. Sun protection belongs with the weeks after that.
What you notice in the chair
Every pulse feels like a short warm tap. The deeper the setting, the more clearly you notice it; the therapist asks along the way how it is going.
Afterwards your skin is red and warm, and in the days that follow the old top layer comes away. Do not scratch and do not scrub; that is exactly what leaves a mark.

What it involves
Frequently asked questions
How much recovery time do I need?
That depends on the depth. Done lightly you are red for a few hours; deeper, count on a few days. We agree that beforehand, so that it does not coincide with something important.
What is the difference from a chemical peel?
With a peel an agent does the work and the working time decides the depth. Here light does the work and the therapist sets the depth per area.
What does it cost?
That depends on the area and the depth, and we establish that at the intake.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow 60 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.
How much recovery time do I need?
From a few hours to a few days, depending on the depth chosen.
How often do I need to come?

Start with a skin analysis
The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
