Where it lands
A microneedling device that makes microscopically small channels in the skin with minute, vibrating needles to stimulate the natural healing process. That stimulates collagen production, making the skin firmer, smoother and more even. Works on fine lines, acne scars, coarse pores and dull skin.

What happens,
in order.
Every treatment starts with cleansing, and that is done by hand. Make-up and sebum come off and the therapist checks that everything is gone, because a device or an active ingredient that works on a layer never reaches your skin.
Numbing cream
It takes half an hour to work. Without it, it is too sharp; with it, it is manageable.
The work itself
Per area, at a fixed depth setting. You hear the device more than you feel it.
Red on the way home
One to three days, as though you had sat too long in the sun. No make-up on the first day.

What you notice in the chair
The same course as with the SkinPen: numbing cream, half an hour of waiting, and then the pen in strips across the area. The Dermapen works faster, so a section is finished sooner.
The depth is adjusted per area. Around your eyes and on your forehead it goes shallower than on your cheeks, and you notice that: the deeper it goes, the more pressure you feel.
Afterwards the same rules apply. One to three days red, leave it alone the first day, and do not skip sun protection after that.

When do I see something of it?
After a few weeks. Collagen building takes time, so what you see just after the first session is healing. That is why we record beforehand how your skin is doing.
What is the difference from the SkinPen?
The principle is the same and the device is different. Which of the two suits you depends on your skin and the area, and we decide that at the intake.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow 60 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.
How much recovery time do I need?
One to three days red.

What does it cost?

Start with a skin analysis
The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
