One appointment for unsettled skin: cleansing, clearing blockages, calming. Bookable on its own.
Where it lands
A single treatment for skin with spots and blockages, without starting a programme. The blocked pores are expertly emptied, the skin is cleansed and calmed, and you are given advice for the days after. It removes what is there now; it does not change why it comes back. The acne programme is for that, and whether it makes sense for you, you hear during this appointment.
- Stratum corneumThe outer layer of dead cells. What happens here shows quickly and heals quickly. It works here
- EpidermisWhere your pigment sits and where new skin cells come from.It works here
- Upper dermisThis is where the connective tissue starts. What you reach here heals by building.Does not reach here
- Deep dermisHair roots, vessels and the firmness of your skin. Working this deep needs a reason.Does not reach here
What happens,
in order.
Every treatment starts with cleansing, and that is done by hand. Make-up and sebum come off and the therapist checks that everything is gone, because a device or an active ingredient that works on a layer never reaches your skin.
Seeing what is there
Blockages, inflammation or both. That decides what happens in that appointment.
Cleansing and emptying
Thorough cleansing and emptying the blocked pores sterilely and at the right pressure.
Calming and advice
A mask or light peel to finish, and advice for the days after.
What you notice in the chair
The therapist first looks at what is there: blockages, inflammation or both. That decides what happens in that appointment and what is left alone instead.
Then a thorough cleanse, the expert emptying of blocked pores and a calming mask or a light peel to finish. Squeezing them yourself at home is the way to turn them into scars; here it is done sterile and with the right pressure.
Afterwards your skin is calm and slightly red for a few hours. You go home with advice about what to put on your face in the days after, and what not.
What this treatment is meant for
On the left where this treatment works well, on the right when another treatment does more for you.
- Clears blockages and inflammation without you squeezing yourself
- Can be booked separately, even if you do not want to start a programme
- Gives calmer skin straight away and advice for the days after
- Does not change why acne comes back; that needs the programme
- With severe, inflamed acne with lumps a doctor looks first
- Does nothing about scars that are already there; those come up once the skin is calm

What it involves
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from the acne programme?
This is one appointment that removes what is there now. The programme takes months, with products for home and check-ups, and tackles why it comes back. Anyone in doubt starts here; during the appointment you hear whether the programme makes sense for you.
What does this cost?
You hear that at the intake, along with whether a single treatment or the programme suits you.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow 60 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.
How much recovery time do I need?
A few hours slightly red. Where blockages were removed the skin can be tender for a day.
How often do I need to come?
Available as a one-off. With recurring acne a series or the programme is the better route.
Start with a skin analysis
The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
