Light that calms the skin. In several wavelengths, without needles or acids.
Where it lands
With LED therapy the skin takes up light of a particular wavelength. That light is absorbed by the mitochondria in your cells, the parts that supply energy, after which more energy is available for repair and production. That effect is called photobiomodulation. Nothing is heated and nothing is removed, and that is exactly why there is no recovery time.

What happens
Acts on
The skin itself
The light is absorbed by the skin and supports the repair there. There is no single component it aims at, as with a laser.
- Stratum corneumThe outer layer of dead cells. What happens here shows quickly and heals quickly.Passes through here
- EpidermisWhere your pigment sits and where new skin cells come from.It works here
- Upper dermisThis is where the connective tissue starts. What you reach here heals by building. It works here
- Deep dermisHair roots, vessels and the firmness of your skin. Working this deep needs a reason. It works here
What happens,
in order.
Every treatment starts with cleansing, and that is done by hand. Make-up and sebum come off and the therapist checks that everything is gone, because a device or an active ingredient that works on a layer never reaches your skin.
The colour chosen
Blue stays at the surface, red reaches the dermis and infrared goes furthest. The therapist chooses what fits.
Under the arch
Eyes closed, goggles on, light on. The panel hangs a hand's width above your face and the time is set beforehand.
Straight on
No redness, no waiting time and no instructions for home. Make-up is fine again the same day.
What you notice in the chair
You are given goggles and lie with your eyes closed. The panel hangs a hand's width above your face and gives light in the colour the therapist has set. There is light and little else: no prick, no tingling, at most mild warmth.
The session runs on a fixed time. Usually we book it straight after another treatment, while you are lying there anyway, and then it is the calmest part of the appointment.
Afterwards you carry straight on with your day. There is no redness to hide and there are no instructions for home.
What light does and does not help with
On the left where this treatment works well, on the right when another treatment does more for you.
- Calms redness and rosacea
- Supports the recovery after needling or a peel
- Comes on top of a treatment with no extra recovery time
- For pigment or hair growth you choose laser or IPL
- For texture and scars, microneedling works deeper
- Light works through repetition, so you plan a series

Frequently asked questions
Why is this so cheap?
Because the treatment is short and no materials are used up. Often we book it straight after something else, while you are lying there anyway.
Can I come just for this?
Yes, that is possible. With redness or rosacea people also book it as a separate series, because then the light does the work.
What do I notice during the session?
Little. Light comes at a low strength and at most you feel mild warmth. Your eyes stay closed and you are given goggles.
Which device is this done on?
On Skin Complete's Precision Photonic System. Which wavelength and which time belong with it is decided by the therapist after the skin analysis.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow 15 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.
How much recovery time do I need?
None.
How often do I need to come?
Usually straight after another treatment. As a separate series for redness, with a few days to a week in between.
What does it cost?
30 euros per session. Every price is published on the price page.
Start with a skin analysis
The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
