What this device actually does
This is the simplest thing in the clinic: a sterile blade passing at a fixed angle over skin pulled taut. No current, light or heat is involved.
What comes off are dead cells from the horny layer and the fine hairs caught in them. What stays is living skin, because the blade does not cut but scrapes across the surface.
The fine hair grows back as it was: just as fine and just as light. Shaving does not change the hair shaft, only the end, and a flat-cut tip feels coarser for the first few days than a tip that has never been cut.

Will my hair grow back thicker?
