A peel that is allowed on the eye contour. For fine lines and a dull, dark eye area.

What it does

Where it lands

The skin around the eye is thinner than the rest of the face, and most peels are too strong for it. This is a formula that may go there: it works on the top layer around the eye socket and tackles fine lines, a dull colour and superficial discolouration. The strength and the working time are chosen per skin.

  • Stratum corneumThe outer layer of dead cells. What happens here shows quickly and heals quickly. It works here
  • EpidermisWhere your pigment sits and where new skin cells come from.It works here
  • Upper dermisThis is where the connective tissue starts. What you reach here heals by building.Does not reach here
  • Deep dermisHair roots, vessels and the firmness of your skin. Working this deep needs a reason.Does not reach here
What it is for

What this treatment is meant for

On the left where this treatment works well, on the right when another treatment does more for you.

It works well for
  • Allowed on the thin skin around the eye, where ordinary peels are too strong
  • Works on fine lines and on a brown, dull colour under the eyes: the pigment bag
  • Often goes together with RRS Eyes in one series: the peel on the top layer, RRS Eyes beneath
  • Combines well with a facial treatment in the same appointment
For this you choose something else
  • Does not remove a bag caused by fluid or fat; that sits under the skin and not in the top layer
  • Does not remove dark circles caused by shadow or vessels showing through
  • Does not firm a drooping eyelid

About eye peel

Frequently asked questions

What does this cost?

That depends on whether it is done separately or in combination, and we establish that at the intake.

What is the difference from RRS Eyes?

A peel works on the top layer; RRS Eyes brings active ingredients under the skin with a needle. With a dull colour and fine lines the peel is the obvious one, with dark circles and a tired eye area rather RRS Eyes. With a ridge of pigment we often use both, in the same series.

How long does an appointment take?

Allow 15 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.

How much recovery time do I need?

The eye area is red for a few hours and can peel slightly in the days after. Eye make-up you leave alone for a while.

How often do I need to come?

A series of three to six, with weeks in between.

What does it cost?

From 30 euros; the amount depends on the option you choose. Every option is on the price page.

The first appointment

Start with a skin analysis

The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
